This December marks the culmination of two and a half years of work for my mother and for me.

She was one of 39 who recently graduated from the NSDC Academy for Staff Developers (Click here for full article), an organization which seeks to provide the tools and knowledge for professional learning within an organization in order to improve student learning. I have just wrapped up my last semester at Rockhurst University to complete my MBA. Not having to consider class schedules, assignments, and tests when juggling my personal and professional obligations is a huge relief. This Christmas season will be a great opportunity to relax and recharge with family (especially Baby Jack!) and enjoy the new ’space’ in my life. I most look forward to spending a *lot* more time with Jenni, she has been such trooper!
